What happens to my epitop VISION contract when a business is transferred?

Short description

When an optical business changes ownership, the existing epitop VISION contract can either be transferred to the new owner or terminated.

Solution

There are two possible scenarios:

1. The new owner takes over the existing contract

If the new owner assumes the legal succession of the business, the existing epitop VISION contract can be transferred.
The contract will then continue under the new owner.
Warning
Note: Access to existing data is only possible if legal succession is assumed.

2. The contract is not transferred

If no legal succession takes place, the existing contract will be terminated.
The new owner can create a new account and sign a new contract at anytime.
